For following along with some of the content here more than likely we will need a subscription with hack the box. Hack the box academy is a very good platform and is what I used/use to learn. HTB Academy for 18 a month or 8 if you are a student you can learn everything you need up to the OSCP level ( intermediate) and if you want you can also take their CPTS cert for ~200 which IMO is harder then the OSCP and a very good hands on hacking certifications. For example it will let you bypass and fast track onto the synack redteam though their pathways program.
